Help Jennifer Wallevand Recover from Hit & Run

If you have ever even set foot inside Sweeney's Saloon in St. Paul, then you have probably met our friend, Jennifer Wallevand. To say that Jen is a "fixture" here would be a huge understatement! An even bigger understatement would be to say that she is a hard worker. Jen is also a generous and selfless person who would give the shirt off her back if she thought it might help someone in need. Many of us, Jen's coworkers, can attest to this personally!
On the evening of May 11th on the corner of 46th Ave & 38th St, while driving home from Sweeney's, Jen's car was involved in a hit & run with a car that was going the wrong way down 38th. Thankfully, we don't think that anyone was hurt in this wreck, but can't say for sure because the second party made the cowardly choice to drive off immediately after colliding with her vehicle! The other driver was most likely drunk, let's face it. Regardless, this accident totaled Jen's car, leaving it completely inoperable, and unsalvageable. To make matters even worse, her insurance will not cover a hit & run collision. This has left our friend without any means of transportation for her commute to St. Paul from Minneapolis for work every day.
It goes without saying that this has been a huge rug that was pulled very unexpectedly and unfairly (we think) out from under her. So, we're setting this up today to see if we can't offer this selfless, generous, hardworking woman some options. We have set the goal amount as modestly as we can. We're just looking to see if we can't raise just enough for a down payment on a new car for her, but any amount would be a tremendous help that would be much appreciated! Even if all you're able to do is reshare this, we would appreciate it so much.
Thank you.
