Support Jennifer with her Cancer treatment.

Hello, my name is Jennifer Martinez. I’m a single mom of a 2-year-old daughter. At 29 years old, I was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, stage 3.

In June 2023, I found a lump on my breast while breastfeeding my daughter. I went to the doctor, got an ultrasound, and the doctor said it was mastitis. But the lump kept growing.

In October 2023, I found another lump under my arm. I went back to the doctor, and they did a biopsy, which came back positive for cancer. At that time, it had already spread to my lymph node and mammary gland.

In March 2024, I finished 16 rounds of chemotherapy, and in April 2024, I had a mastectomy. The doctor declared me free of cancer.

Unfortunately, in June 2024, I had a stroke and was rushed to the hospital. I got an MRI done on my brain, which showed 7 tumors and brain bleeding. I was put on steroids to stop the bleeding and inflammation, which caused me to develop Cushing syndrome with bone degeneration, moon face, and weight gain.

I have been battling cancer privately for 1 year. It has been indescribably difficult mentally, physically, and especially financially.

I haven’t been able to work due to so many appointments, chemotherapy, surgeries, and radiation.

I’ve always been independent and don’t like to ask for help, but it has gotten to a point where I need financial help to continue with my treatment and be able to provide for my 2-year-old daughter.
