Hi my name is Kerry and I am friends with Jennifer Sena. Recently Jennifer‘s mother Ferne was diagnosed with cancer and Jennifer needs to be with her to support her.

Given that FMLA only covers the security of your job and not salary for time away, I hope many of you from the recovery community, her PCC colleagues, and her friends across the decades can donate to this fundraiser.

Monies will support Jen to take time off to go see her mom, gas for the trips down, costs to stay overnight, food, other incidentals, and whatever else may be needed so that Jennifer can spend time with her family.

Additionally Jen’s landlords are selling her house and Jen must move out by November 7. While she has found temporary housing, it may not be a long-term solution. Given the expense of housing in Seattle, every dollar helps.

Anything you can give will alleviate financial concerns of both time off to spend time with Ferne and moving costs.

No one needs should watch a parent suffer with cancer, but no one should be worried about housing themself and their two children while supporting a parent with cancer. Please donate and spread the word.
