Hello! My name is Jennifer Riedel. I recently found out that I need all my teeth extracted. I'm not good at asking for help, but I really need it at this time.

Growing up, I was diagnosed with cancer and then later MS. The treatments and medicine needed to save my life have damaged the bones in my jaw, and my teeth are no longer viable. I thought I had my ducks in a row and opted for dentures because the price of implants is astronomical. Today, I received a call from the actual oral surgeon, and the surgery itself will cost a little over $8,000. I was not expecting that. This total doesn't even include the dentures and alignments, which will be around $6,000.

Currently, I can only use my six front teeth to chew as I am having extreme pain in my mouth. I am afraid I am going to have to cancel everything that I need done for a good quality of life. I work in Special Education. I tell the students that when they need help to ask, and the world is full of caring people that want to help. I know people have more severe illnesses or losses in their lives, and I truly feel bad about exposing my problem to essentially the world, but I need help. Please find it in your heart to donate.
