Help Jennifer Overcome Her Struggles

Hi my name is Jennifer and I am 63 years old. My leg was amputated in February and I lost my job where I had worked for 22 years and also lost my home where I had rented for 16 years. I have been living in various motels since using up my severance pay. I have been such an independent person for my whole life and I can't believe I'm actually at the point of starting a gofundme. If I reach my fundraising goal $1,200 would be used to pay for my motel room and the rest would be used for food and rides to and from doctors appointments. It feels like the stars have lined up against me since I lost my leg. It is possible that I could lose my other leg. My ebt card was returned without a reason so I'm waiting for a new one. I used the last of my funds for a food delivery from Walmart yesterday and there was an issue with the delivery and my order was cancelled. Now I am waiting for the credit back to my account. There are food banks available but I can't get there. I applied for every benefit available in my area but of course everything has a waiting list. I applied for disability but the process is endless so I ended up retiring. First check should be deposited the last week of June but I will be homeless as of next Wednesday. I am fundraising because I don't know what else to do so I don't end up homeless on the streets of Atlanta. Any small amount of money donated is greatly appreciated and would be used for food and to pay for my motel room. I always try to find a silver lining or lesson when I am faced with difficulties. The difficult lesson for me is I have learned to accept help and more importantly to ask for help when I need it. No man is an island. The silver lining for me is that my faith in humanity has been somewhat restored. Random people are always voluntarily eager to help me, even young people like teenagers. They open doors for me and push me up hills in my manual wheelchair and I don't even ask they just volunteer. It's amazing and heartwarming. Please donate any amount.
