Help Jennifer Overcome Her Final Hurdle

Hi, my name is Jennifer and over the past few years, I’ve faced some of the hardest challenges of my life. After losing my dad which opened up a lot of old wounds and trauma and going through a divorce, I struggled with mental health issues that led to addiction. I almost lost everything—my home, my car, even basic utilities—and at my lowest point, I almost lost my life. But I fought hard to rebuild. Now, almost a year clean and with my bills finally caught up, I’m so close to putting it all behind me.

This last hurdle is fixing my car situation, which includes tolls, tickets, registration, insurance, and getting my license renewed after a suspension. These issues have made daily life so much harder and left me feeling stuck financially and emotionally. I work peculiar hours, which makes taking the bus impossible, and my workplace is far enough that relying on Uber has become incredibly expensive. Despite never missing a shift and taking as much overtime as possible, these expenses have made it impossible to gain any traction toward fixing my car issues. Having a vehicle isn’t just a convenience for me—it’s essential for keeping up with work and getting ahead. Right now, instead of moving forward, I’m falling further behind, and I truly need help to break this cycle.

I know my story isn’t unique—so many people have been through similar struggles—and one day I hope to be in a place where I can help others the way I’ve been helped. But right now, I’m just so stuck. Asking for help like this is not easy for me, but I know I can’t do it alone this time.
