Help Jennifer Overcome Financial Hardships

Hi!
My name is Jennifer. I’m a trans girl living in NYC, and I usually work in the film and video industry. You may or may not be aware, but the film industry and larger video industry has been going through a very rough patch for a while now. The last year has been incredibly tough looking for work, and even though I have found a stopgap job in retail, it took me months to find. It only pays minimum wage, schedules me for about 25ish hours of work a week, and the company just further cut all the employees' hours in half.
I have run out of unemployment and savings, and I need some breathing room to be able to find a new job. I’m looking for work anywhere I can find it, and have been for over a year, but whether it’s just the market, the industry, or because of who I am, I have been unsuccessful. Poverty is a viscous cycle and makes it difficult to pull yourself out of the situation, even if you are motivated. All I know is I have given it my all, and I am unable to afford my bills moving forward until something changes.
This is beyond my last resort and I feel shameful for asking, but people always say you should reach out and ask for help when you are in need instead of trying to do it alone, so that’s what I’m doing. Any help you can offer would be immensely appreciated and will go towards my monthly bills and groceries. And if anyone has any leads on any decent paying jobs that can employ full time with a living wage, please reach out and let me know.
