Help Jennifer Misal's family as she battles cancer
Donation protected
In October, my sister Jennifer was told the news nobody, especially at only 33 years old, is ever prepared for......"You have lung cancer and it's stage 4." She never thought a trip to the ER to get checked out for being lightheaded and feeling like her heart was beating out of her chest would lead to all this. They did a scan, saw a mass, and it has been a terrible whirlwind ever since.
With all this going on, Jennifer still went to work every day. She is a single mother to 4 amazing children and does it all on her own. She has 3 beautiful daughters who are 11, 12, and 14 and her handsome little boy, who is 5 and autistic and they are all counting on her.
Her treatment plan is very aggressive including chemo and radiation simultaneously. This has caused her to get very sick, very fast. Her doctors were concerned about her being a caregiver with a weakened immune system. Between that and the fact that her treatment appointments are daily, she was forced to quit her job.
Now, on top of this nightmare of a diagnosis, she is left with no way to support her family. No way to pay for rent, bills, or even gas to get to her treatments. She is sick and she is scared and she is stressed.
My sister is a dearly loved daughter, mom, sister, aunt, and friend. She is funny, loving, caring, and has the biggest heart. I am in awe of her strength through all this but there is still so far to go.
Please, if anyone reading this is able to help ease her burden at all, anything would be a huge help. Even donations of things like household items, hygiene products, natural cleaners, or things of that nature would be greatly appreciated. I can be contacted via Facebook messenger to arrange (Shannon Trout). I can promise you she would be eternally grateful as would all of us that are close to her. If you are unable to contribute, even sharing is a huge help.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!
