Help Jennifer & Kids as they Say Goodbye to Kevin Freestone

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are reaching out to share the story of Kevin Freestone, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who has been courageously battling terminal brain cancer for over 6 years. Together with his wife, Jennifer Neddo Freestone, they have built a beautiful life together, raising three amazing children, ages 7, 10, and 13.

Over the years Kevin has fought through brain surgery and countless radiation, chemotherapy, and infusion treatments. After doing every treatment and medication available and after lots of prayer, Kevin and his family decided it was best to stop treatment, and is now on Hospice care.

Our hearts are all shattered that our time is being limited on this earth with our fun, loving, tenderhearted, service-oriented, and strong, Mr. Incredible. Kevin’s proudest thing in life is being a dad, and his family is cherishing every moment they have left together. While this time is heart-wrenching, the Freestones are focused on creating lasting memories and surrounding Kevin with love and comfort during his final days and weeks.

Kevin and his family are immensely grateful for the kindness and help they have already received over the past several years. They are genuinely appreciative of the support and help they have been given by many of you. The emotional and financial burdens of this journey have been immense, and will continue to be so as Kevin is the sole provider for his family and will be leaving behind his wife and three beautiful children who love him more than anything.

We’ve started this GoFundMe campaign to rally around the Freestones in ways that can give their family some peace of mind and relieve them of a little financial burden. Through conversations with friends who have experienced similar losses, Jennifer has learned how devastating it can be for children when the surviving parent is forced to immediately return to work or school. In addition to covering some medical and funeral expenses, this fundraiser is a way to ensure Jennifer can spend significant time with her children, offering them the love and support they will need to heal while maintaining stability in their lives during this incredibly difficult transition. This will also allow their children to continue to keep doing the sports and activities they love and help Jennifer plan for their family.

Kevin has touched so many lives with his kindness, determination, and love for his family and community. Thank you for standing with the Freestones during this heartbreaking chapter. Together, we can honor Kevin’s legacy by ensuring his family is surrounded by the love and care they need now and in the future.
