I never thought I’d be here. My name is Jennifer, and I’m fighting to keep a roof over my head and protect the four animals who depend on me — two dogs and two cats who are my entire world.
I lost my job in October 2024. Since then, I’ve been working every hour I could find, but seasonal cuts slashed my income. My savings are gone. I’m now struggling to cover rent, utilities, and even food. This is now an emergency.
We are out of time.
I have been paying what I can, but I am now two months behind on my rent. Without immediate help, my pets and I will be evicted. If I lose my home, they will end up in a shelter — and losing them would break me. They are my family, my emotional support, my stability, and the reason I keep going.
I also live with chronic, debilitating health conditions. Keeping my medical insurance is the only way I can work and function. Losing coverage would put me at serious risk of life-threatening complications.
I’m not asking for charity. I’m asking for a short-term lifeline — a bridge to keep us safe while I work to secure stable full-time employment again.
Every dollar helps keep us housed, together, and safe.
If you can donate or share, it truly means everything.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring.
