Jennifer faced a life-altering moment when she received the devastating news of her diagnosis – a very rare and aggressive form of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Her diagnosis has also caused secondary complications as her large tumour is located inside her chest wall, very close to her heart. This is causing her heart to be continually stressed resulting in a resting heart rate of 170, shortness of breath, a large blood clot from her neck all the way down her arm and extremity swelling. As a young mother with four daughters aged 4, 7, 9 and 11, and a wife to her loving husband Michael Bickell, Jennifer and her family are determined to heal her cancer together.
The Path to Healing:
While traditional treatments are available, they often come with their own set of risks and limitations. Jennifer has taken an innovative approach by building a team of holistic Doctors and practitioners who specialize in Oncology and who are collaborating with her to create a comprehensive healing plan. She firmly believes that this path combined with mind-body practices will provide her with the best chance of achieving healing and long-term recovery.
