Help Jennifer Hill-Gowans Receive the Gift of Life

Dear Family, Friends, and Compassionate Supporters,

We are reaching out on behalf of Jennifer Hill-Gowans, who is preparing for a life-changing and life-saving kidney transplant. In the midst of this difficult journey, there is also a beautiful blessing: her devoted husband, Kennus "Keno" Gowans, has been found to be a match and is selflessly donating one of his kidneys to the woman he loves. While this gift of life brings tremendous hope, the road ahead will come with many challenges and significant financial burdens.

Jennifer and Keno will face transplant-related costs, travel and lodging for appointments and procedures, prescription medications, and follow-up care. Keno will need coverage from lost income and time away from work during surgery and recovery, as well as daily household expenses while they focus on healing. Because Keno is making the incredible sacrifice of donating one of his kidneys to save his wife's life, both Jennifer and Keno will face a lengthy recovery period together. The financial burden of lost income, along with the costs associated with surgery and follow-up care, can quickly become overwhelming.

Our hope is to ease some of that burden so that Jennifer and Keno can focus on what matters most—healing, recovery, and spending precious time together with their family and loved ones.
