Help Jennifer get to Law School!

Hello, my name is Jessica Cardoza, and I am organizing this fundraiser for my extremely determined and hard-working sister, Jennifer Cardoza. Since she was a young girl, she has had one main goal - to attend Law School and become a lawyer. If you know Jennifer, then you know that when she sets her mind to a goal there is no stopping her. She has overcome many hardships in her life, but it has not stopped her from securing not one but two degrees from USC, one of the top private institutions in the nation. During her time at USC, she was part of numerous programs that served her community and helped vulnerable populations. Jennifer has always been an active member and advocate for her community and loved ones - these qualities will make her a great asset to the legal profession. She has been preparing to attend law school for nearly her whole life, and now that she has the opportunity to attend an amazing Civil Rights program at CUNY Law School, she needs a little help from her family, friends, and loving community to get there. This will be the first time that Jennifer will be moving away from her hometown and from her family, but she is ready and willing to move across the country in order to further her education. However, as I am sure many of you know, New York City is not exactly an affordable place to live, and since she is not eligible for financial aid during the first part of her law school program, she has been having trouble securing proper housing. This is why we need your help! Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser in the hopes of gathering enough funds to help secure Jennifer the housing she needs to attend her law school program and begin her journey to becoming a Lawyer!
