My name is Jennifer Leckie, and I'm raising money for a service dog. I have been on twitter for the past 5 years, and many of you know me. I and my children am no longer homeless, and though our living situation is now secure, my health and cognitive ability are not. I am disabled for the foreseeable future.

According to my rheumatologist, psychiatrist, and therapist, a service animal will help me regain function. I can't afford a service animal, though. I had a consultation through a training service here in Colorado, and the size of dog I require plus training, the cost is far above what I can afford, and since I am not military, prohibitive. 

I just want to live again. Please help me do that, if you can.
