Donate & Help Paisley's Family with Medical Bills

Anyone who knows me, is probably familiar with our story. About 7 years ago, we rescued Paisley the Snowshoe cat. She was only seven months old and was adopted at a local rescue. At only seven months old, Paisley had been shot with a BB and had just birthed what was believed to be her second set of kittens. The folks that helped rescue and foster Paisley still keep in touch - a true testament to just how loved she truly is.

Over the past couple months, Paisley began losing a tremendous amount of body weight and was recently brought to our vet after we noticed she was starting to become jaundice. After bringing her into the vet this week, we learned that her liver was failing and there is inflammation in not only her liver but her pancreas and gall bladder. Paisley also has an upper respiratory infection which has set her back tremendously as she's now refusing to eat. The doctors say we can save her but she's currently in the ICU undergoing intensive medical care. After visiting her today, her test results were not optimal and she cannot come home until her bilirubin level improves and she begins eating on her own. If she fails to eat soon, she will be undergoing surgery to insert a feeding tube.

In two days, our medical expenses have exceeded $4k and I'm frantic as I fear she will be admitted longer than we anticipated initially. We're looking at almost $2k per day plus the cost of medicine and potential surgery. I would normally never ask for help but due to my own medical debt as I continue to pay for Chemo every six weeks due to an incurable lifelong disease, I'm struggling to find the funds to pay her medical bills and it's truly my greatest fear to not be able to help her.

I'm hoping that by the grace of God and the love of those in this world that somehow we can find the funds to keep her going and bring her back to health. She's truly a miracle baby and she has saved my soul at a time when I needed her most - it's now my life's mission to get her back to health. She and her sister Luna are our only children and we love them more than anything in this world. I simply cannot imagine a second without her in it.

For anyone who can only offer their love, support, and prayers - thank you. For anyone who is able to help donate to her care, I'm forever grateful.

Sincerest Thanks - Jennifer & Jonathan
