UPDATE 6/01/25~ Mom was hospitalized a few weeks back for an infection in her catheter… she was discharged after a long weeks stay only to find out the BEST news yet!! Since she was on fluids and antibiotics for a week, her kidney function increased to 26!! It’s been steady at 18 for quite some time so hearing 26 has been the best news yet! Her kidney doctor has no explanation for this only to just stay hydrated and hope this holds up until we get her a kidney. Even though it’s increased, it’s likely to decrease again at any time. She still needs a kidney! Please, if you or anyone you know is interested in being a kidney donor please reach out!! We are so blessed and so thankful for you all!

UPDATE 4/14/25~ Barnes reached out to us this morning and mom is officially on the transplant list! Now we wait!

UPDATE 3/24/25~ Mom had her surgery to get her port placed and will be starting dialysis when her wound heals. She will be on dialysis until she finds a kidney! Please keep sharing! If you or anyone you know is interested in being a kidney donor please call three-one-four-three-six-two-five-three-six-five option 4.

Hi everyone,

My name is Kinzie, and my sister Alexis and I are reaching out for help for my incredible mom. In September 2024, we unfortunately found out that mom was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure. As you could imagine, this came as a complete shock for our family. We are trying to do everything we can to support her during this challenging time, but we can't do it alone.

My mom is a fighter, but the medical expenses are overwhelming. From the possibility of dialysis treatments to medications and frequent doctor visits, the costs are adding up quickly as mom's insurance will only cover her transplant and care to be at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. From my parents having to drive back and forth from doctor appointments to them having to stay in St. Louis for up to two weeks (that's without any complications after her transplant), this will put a huge impact on traveling expenses.

Any contribution, big or small, will make a huge difference in mom's fight against stage 4 kidney failure. We would appreciate everyone's prayers and support in this challenging time.

If you or anyone you know is interested in being a living donor, please call three-one-four-three-six-two-five-three-six-five option 4.

Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts.

Kinzie & Alexis
