On June 13, 2025, Payton Lamm was in a rollover vehicle accident while driving through Canada. Tragically, Payton passed away as a result of his injuries.

Payton was well known and liked throughout the MAT-SU Valley and beyond. He was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, coworker, and friend. He drove for Matanuska Towing and Recovery for 21 years before taking a job as a guard for the Department of Corrections.

Please help his wife Jennifer with transportation and funeral expenses to bring Payton home to Alaska and put him to rest. Service date and location will be announced once Payton is home.

Additionally, Jennifer needs help with living expenses. The bank has locked Payton's account with all their money. They won't unlock it until she provides a death certificate, which has to come from Canada and then go through Washington, DC. So this could take some time.
