Jennifer Knowles is not only my dear friend, but also a dedicated advocate in our county's Victim Services Unit. She is the Area Director for the Area 5 Special Olympics, further showing her commitment to helping others. Jennifer is the kind of person who is always there for others, volunteering her time with helping organizations and making a real difference in our community. Her compassion and drive have touched so many lives, and she is truly a go-getter who never hesitates to lend a hand to those in need.

Today, Jennifer and her adult son, Andrew, faced an unimaginable tragedy. The house they were renting was completely destroyed in a fire, and they lost absolutely everything. With no insurance to cover their losses, Jennifer and Andrew are left to start over from scratch. Andrew, who has special needs, relies on Jennifer's care and support, making this loss even more overwhelming for their family.
