My sister-in-law, Jennifer Allden (pictured), was in a horrific car crash this past week. She suffered two broken vertebrae in her neck and one in her back, a broken collarbone, multiple broken ribs, her pelvis was broken in four places, and she has lacerations on her liver and spleen. She's now out of the woods and going to survive, but she will be in critical care for weeks, then to a facility to learn to walk and get stronger. She cannot bear any weight standing for at least six weeks.

Her house only has a powder room on the first floor. The shower is upstairs. We will need to do something about her bathroom situation and also add some small ramps in and out of her home, as every entrance has a few steps. She has no income as she lost her job last week. Now she has no vehicle.

The life flight from College Station to Temple is $50,000 and not covered by insurance. She's going to be in tremendous debt all while trying to regain her health and heal.

Her husband passed suddenly during the COVID lockdown. She's lost her job (and we're not sure she will be able to work again). She's suffered severe complications from a surgery two years ago. She is a two time cancer survivor in the past 8 years, stage one and stage four. She's already gone through so much recently, now the car accident.

But she's not a sob story. She is strong willed, funny, opinionated and a fierce backer to her family and friends. We love her tremendously!!!
