I’m Sugar, Jennies girlfriend and I find myself in a place where I need to reach out for help. She has given me permission to write this.

We have learnt recently after some medical investigations prompted by crippling pain that Jennie needs a full Hysterectomy. The scans show her womb to be twice the average size due to fibroid growths.

She has long suffered with fibroids and cysts in her womb and has had previous surgery to remove them but the time has now come where it is necessary to remove her womb and ovaries. It is causing her an awful amount of pain and she is unable to work due to it.

We had to go and have an emergency coil removal last week because fibroids had pushed it out of place.

The wait to see a NHS gynaecological Dr is 10 months and then there is a surgical waitlist after that. This route, whilst leaving Jen in pain for months, would mean she would not be able to work while we wait.

We need to get this surgery done as quickly as possible to relieve her of the pain, to get her back on her feet and to allow her to work.

We have met with a private surgeon and he has confirmed that she needs a full hysterectomy as soon as possible. This will cost £10,000.

Jennie has worked all of her life bringing joy to people through her work on stage and screen. She has a long theatre and television career whilst simultaneously tutoring the next generation of performance artists at Genesis and it’s predecessor Glendale - the very same performing arts school she first joined at 8 years old.
