Help Jennie LeDoux Keep Her Home

Donation protected
Jennie LeDoux is a hardworking individual who has always done her best to overcome challenges. Recently, she was served an eviction notice and must raise her rent money by December 8th to avoid losing her home by December 24th. Jennie fell behind on rent after losing her job in an unstable industry, and the period of unemployment made it impossible to keep up with bills. As a queer artist with ADHD, Autism, and severe asthma, Jennie is a disabled person living alone and caring for her cat, WhiteToe. She does not have family to turn to for support during this difficult time; in fact, she often supports her mother who lives out of state and struggles with several health issues of her own. Jennie is without her own transportation and her apartment is her only safe means of shelter from the elements.

Despite these hardships, Jennie has shown incredible resilience. She now has stable full-time employment and is making huge strides to regain stability in her life. She is working her way up to a management position at her job, and leaving her home would uproot all of her progress and prevent her from renting a stable and safe home in the future. Jennie is also in the process of treating several health conditions, and safe housing is essential for her to continue healing and working toward her goals. Jennie deserves the chance to keep her home and continue building a better future. Losing her housing would undo all her progress and make it much harder to maintain her job and health.

Jennie is a vibrant member of the community who is passionate about social causes and using her talents to help her community as she can. She is a fierce voice for Palestine, the LGBTQ+ community, service industry workers, and local artists.

Jennie has always been there for me, throughout my own struggles with unemployment, chronic illness, and periods of loss and grief. She is an exceedingly generous soul who is resilient and resourceful and would do anything for those she loves. Your support will help her stay safe, stable, and hopeful for the future. Thank you for considering a donation to help Jennie stay in her home.
