Our mother, Jenni, has spent her life giving to and caring for others. Now, she needs our help.

She raised four kids on her own, working tirelessly to provide for us. Twenty years ago, she started her own house cleaning business, building a life of self-sufficiency through sheer determination and hard work. Despite never having a large income, she has always given 10% of what she earns to her church and in recent years to charities, living out her deep faith through generosity.

Mom has always been full of life: she was a passionate long distance runner, an animal lover, and an incredible gardener. Her green thumb has transformed not just every piece of property we lived on, but the yards of friends and clients, bringing beauty and joy wherever she plants. Gardening is her happy place, a way to connect with nature and find peace. She has always been deeply committed to healthy living, focusing on clean eating and holistic wellness.

Stage 4 Cancer Diagnosis

Mom was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in January of 2021 that has now spread throughout her body: pelvis, spine, lungs, and liver. The cancer has caused multiple fractures in her bones, making daily life challenging and at times, very painful.

When she was first diagnosed, she poured her savings into alternative and naturopathic treatments, trying everything she could to heal naturally. But the costs became overwhelming and ultimately switched to traditional Western treatments, which come with painful side effects.

Still, she keeps trying to work part time even after the fractures to her spine and pelvis. The cost of living, supplements, medication, alternative treatments, care taking for a chronically ill child, bills, etc. far exceed a disability check.

In March mom will have a surgery that will require a month for recovery.

Why We Need Your Help

On top of her own battle, Mom is also the full-time caregiver for her youngest child, who is autistic and chronically ill. She has always put others first, but now, she needs help.

We are raising funds to help cover:

Medical expenses (treatments, holistic treatments, alternative treatment centers, medications, pain management, supplements)

Living expenses (rent, utilities, food, etc)

Caregiving support for her and her youngest child

A beach trip(we’ve been on one family vacation ever, and she brings up the wish for another consistently)
