Help Jenni Get a Liver Transplant & Keep Her Family Housed
Donation protected

Hi, my name is Jennifer Rasmussen—but most people know me as Jenni. I'm 30 years old, a wife, and a proud mother to two incredible kids: my 11-year-old son Sylus and 10-year-old daughter Cloe.
Earlier this year, our world turned upside down. In January, my husband and I were overjoyed to find out we were expecting our third child. Just a week later, we tragically lost the baby.
In March, my health took a sharp and scary turn. I became severely jaundiced, bloated, and sick. I was admitted to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed me with Cirrhosis of the liver. This was on top of my previous diagnosis of POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome).
I spent most of April and May in the hospital. Now I’m home—but far from healed. I’m officially on the liver transplant list, and we’ve been told my condition could worsen at any moment.
With me unable to work, my husband became my full-time caregiver and lost his job. That means we lost both incomes. Now we’re facing eviction on August 11th, our car is months behind on payments, our kids start school August 4th—with no uniforms or supplies. We’re down to our last $100 in food stamps until August 9th, while everything we own is in storage.
We’re doing everything we can. We’ve reached out to local organizations, churches, and assistance programs, but funding is tight everywhere. Local shelters would split up our family. We are exhausted, scared, and running out of time.
This fundraiser will help us:
✅ Pay the deposit and first month’s rent on a safe 2-bedroom apartment
✅ Catch up on car payments and insurance
✅ Afford prescriptions, gas, and basic needs
✅ Get school supplies, uniforms, and shoes for our children
✅ Buy furniture, clothing, and essentials to rebuild some stability
If you’ve read this far, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I never imagined we’d be in this position. Every donation, share, and kind word means the world to us. We are simply trying to survive and stay together as a family while I fight for my life.
Please consider donating or sharing. Your support gives us the strength to keep going.
With love and gratitude,
— Jenni Rasmussen
