Hello everyone,

This is really hard for me to post because I’m not someone who likes asking for help. From the outside, it probably looks like we’re fine, but behind the scenes we’ve been struggling and doing everything we can to hold it together for our daughter.

Recently, Ruben lost his job, and we also found out we no longer have daycare assistance. Daycare alone is $150 a week, and it all happened at once. I’ve reapplied for daycare assistance, but right now I’m on a waiting list. In the meantime, I’m the only one bringing in income from my job at Starbucks, and trying to manage everything on one paycheck has been overwhelming.

We’ve been stretching every dollar, but between rent, bills, groceries, and daycare, we’ve fallen behind. Starting this GoFundMe wasn’t easy, but we need some breathing room while Ruben looks for work and we get back on our feet.
