Hi everyone,

Many of you already know, I was recently laid off and while I’ve tried to stay strong, it’s been a major setback for my family. As the primary source of income, this sudden change has left us behind on essential bills, especially rent, which is due this Friday. We’re also now facing overdue electric and water bills.

I’m currently in the process of applying for unemployment and state assistance, but those systems take time. In the meantime, I’m reaching out for support, something that’s incredibly hard and humbling to do. I’m a married mom of two, and I’m just trying to keep a roof over our heads and the lights on.
