Hello friends and family. On December 16th my sister and best friend Jenna Van Dyke along with her family was hit with scary news. She had been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma aka breast cancer at the young age of 35. While this is devastating and scary news, she has been nothing but brave and facing this thing head on. As I'm sure most of us know, fighting (and beating) cancer is not an easy thing to do mentally, physically or financially. While Jenna has to face this beast with chemotherapy, surgery and possibly radiation, the last thing she should be worrying about is how to pay for treatment while still making sure her family is well fed and sheltered. Jenna didn't want to burden people by putting up a GoFundMe but I know that people would want to help her in any way they can, and this is one of the ways that you all can help. Any way that you can help is more than we can ask for, no amount is too small and any donations will be used to help Jenna and her family during this difficult time. She has so many people that love and support her, including her loving finance Clay and her sweet 2 1/2 year old Owen. I understand that 2020 has been a difficult year for everyone and if you can not financially help, that is completely understandable. I ask that you sign up for meal train that will also be up to help her. Jenna has such an amazing heart with so many people that love her and I know for a fact that there are a lot of people that are out there that want to help her. If whoever reads this could share this post as well, it would be such an amazing way to get her story out, because the more people that know, the more people are going to want to help. We thank and love you all for the support.
