Hey y'all,

Earlier this year, I was offered a job moving a family from Philadelphia to L.A. at the end of September for roughly $1,000, food and housing on the way there, and a flight back home. I was going to use this opportunity to complete one of the biggest goals on my list for a long time- Riding my bike from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean.

Unfortunately, after I had done some planning and preparation, they had to cancel. While I've been saving some money, trying to build up my bike a little better, and acquiring what affordable gear I can, I have found out this is way more expensive than I thought.

Regardless, I am so incredibly excited to continue planning this trip and am so grateful to feel comfortable sharing this story and journey and being able to holler for help!

I'll be using any money raised here for a plane ticket to the west coast around October 1st, a train ticket from St. Augustine to Philly, and some extra gear and bike components to keep me as safe as possible!

While I'll be using my phone less, I'll still be taking pictures and keeping a journal and would love to share it here if anyone wants to watch me do my best to complete this lifelong goal.
