Help Jenna receive necessary spinal fusion surgery

Hi, my name is Kristen Rogers, and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Jenna Wilson. My friend has been dealing with chronic health conditions for the past 3 years. She has experienced chronic fatigue syndrome, POTS (an autonomic nervous system disorder), daily headaches, and widespread pain. This is due to a condition called cranial cervical instability (CCI). I have personally seen her struggle to get out of bed some days and complete daily tasks due to the increase of the symptoms listed above. As you can see in the MRI photo, her brain stem is being compressed by her cervical spine, therefore causing these symptoms. If left untreated, her neurological condition will continue to worsen.

That being said, the only treatment is a C0-C2 (cervical spine) spinal fusion, and the surgeons do not take insurance due to being a private practice. The cost of surgery is $24,000 and travel expenses will be another $3,000. Currently, insurance has denied the procedure, and she will have to pay out of pocket by September 18th in order to get the surgery she needs.
