Help Jenna Overcome Cancer and Thrive

Hi, this is Jenna ❤️

I never would have thought I would be making one of these for myself. I am about to start my career in mental health counseling! But, cancer doesn’t discriminate. I have been diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma after surgery for removal of the site and 6 of my lymph nodes. My father has been burdened with all of the medical costs, including health insurance, because I’m not currently working a job that provides it. Even with health insurance, the costs of all of the tests, doctor visits, and treatment planning we are already doing are piling up quickly. BUT we have good odds on the table and I’m CONFIDENT that I’m going to live a long, healthy life with the help of God, my family, and my community.

I plan on doing the best I can to work and make money through all of this as well, but my focus is going to be on healing my body from the inside out. I am changing my diet, eliminating toxins in my environment, and combining medicine with holistic remedies that are supported by science so this cancer has nowhere to go or thrive. So it will never come back. I also plan on receiving therapy and psychiatric assistance because I have medical PTSD from having an incurable condition at age ten that left me with a lot of trauma to deal with at this time, making this harder than it already has been. I am determined to change my lifestyle completely and I’d appreciate any and all support given. Thank you to everyone who has been there already; it means more than I can ever convey through words. This has been the scariest time of my life and I’m consistently grateful for the people around me. Every dollar received will go directly to my medical bills and care. My father didn’t want me to ask for help because we are still hoping on clear scans and a 2nd opinion, but just the cost of these appointments and tests have already added up to a debt of around $4000 and counting. I will be changing my lifestyle and have frequent appointments regardless of the treatment protocol we decide on. Thank you for even reading this. Please think positive thoughts about my recovery.
