Help Jenna Rebuild

hi friends,

my name is laura shafer and i am a long time, close friend of jenna, who lost everything she’s ever known in hurricane ian. located in fort myers, jenna was absolutely blindsided by the detour the hurricane had made. due to the sudden change in ian’s path, meteorologists suggested she stay put and attempt to ride it out because it was too late to safely evacuate. they did everything she could with the time she had to prepare, but unfortunately it was not enough. with water up to their heads, she rode out the storm in a crawl space in the roof. in the end, she  was stranded on a floating bookshelf for hours until help arrived. my close friend lost everything she owned after building a life in florida only 4 years prior. she is one of the most resilient and strongest women i know and and now she needs help.

unfortunately, i am currently located in the suburbs of Philadelphia myself and i feel absolutely 

helpless. so i thought i would start by attempting to raise money for her in order to begin the long, arduous process of rebuilding her life, along with the rest of the fort myers community.
