Hi everyone!
My name is Kelly, and I am incredibly thankful for everyone who took the time to visit this fundraising page. if you know me, you probably also know my best friend Jenna who has been struggling with health problems for the last few years.
Unfortunately, these last couple of years have caused Jenna’s overall health to take a downturn. From living an active and engaging lifestyle to having a hard time getting outside for walks, this dramatic shift has brought its challenges.
Jenna’s wide range of symptoms has proven to be incredibly hard to treat with a single specialist’s recommendations. This health journey has led her through multiple doctors [primary care, gastrologist, infection disease specialist, and more] who have all given her empty answers and uninspiring solutions.
Thankfully - Jenna has been recently working with a chronic disease specialist that focuses on providing tests and treatments for people battling auto-immune, heavy metal poisoning, chronic infections [mold, bacterial, or viral], and other debilitating health problems. Through this process, she has tested positive for chronic Lyme disease – giving her hope for answers again.
For anyone not familiar - Lyme disease is a tick-borne illness that can persist in the body for years, wreaking havoc on the immune system and eventually the entire body. In the United States, there is hesitation in the established medical community on the treatment protocols for this infection. Many American doctors don’t agree on the medicinal doses or durations, so there are sporadic treatment options available - many of which are not covered under insurance.
This is where we need this community’s help…
Jenna has been accepted into the Lyme-Infection Disease Program at Sanoviv Medical Institute.
This hospital located in Rosarito, Mexico has treatment options not available in the United States and has a long track record of getting those struggling with their health back on their feet. The Lyme program is 2-weeks of consistent and intense medical and detoxification procedures. But these treatments come at a cost…
Sanoviv’s multi-step approach for healing is $20,000.00.
Jenna has spent years looking for answers and we feel like she is so close. The decision to undergo treatments at Sanoviv has not been an easy financial decision, but we feel it will be the right one.
