Help Jenna LePage Fight Stage 4 Cancer

My little sister, Jenna (Dille) LePage (36) is a mother to three beautiful children, Jayden (11), Easton (9), and Gracelyn (7). Her husband, Josh and her live in Buffalo, MN, where Jenna has been a lifelong resident. Up until recent events, their main focus has been on raising their family, enjoying life and dealing with the normal bumps and bruises that we all face on a daily basis.

On Thursday, September 14, 2023, my sister called me and let me know she had scheduled a doctor's appointment because she had severe pain in her lower abdomen which had her concerned. An ultrasound was done, and they had found what was hoped to be a blood clot in the upper left quadrant of her uterus. They removed a fibroid-like mass on September 15. Unfortunately, after testing, it was determined that she has a high-grade cancer, what they found was: poorly differentiated endocervical adenocarcinoma 4a.

She was referred to Mayo Clinic and has traveled the past week for a PET scan, CT and MRI. Because of where the cancer is, they have yet to determine if it is cervical or uterine but due to the results of the testing, have decided that she is a surgical candidate and she has a modified radical total hysterectomy scheduled for Friday, October 6, 2023. She will need radiation afterwards, but the full treatment plan and details will evolve from information gathered from the surgery.

Jenna has already been battling Lupus for the past five years. Through this, she has shown me, her friends and her family how strong and positive a person she is. Not only is Jenna determined to fight this cancer too, her hope, faith, and positivity has remained high. I have always admired her resolve to live her best life!

I wanted to set up this GoFundMe in order to help Jenna and Josh with the extra expenses that come with her diagnosis. Although insurance will help some, travel expenses will add up and they will have loss of wages due to Josh having to miss work to be with Jenna.
