Help Jenna Fight Cancer That’s Spread to Her Brain & Beyond

Donation protected
Update– May 28, 2025..

Jenna was back in Indianapolis the last few days, but I’m happy to share that as of May 28th, she officially finished radiation and rang the bell!

I can’t put into words how proud I am of her. She’s been through so much and just keeps pushing forward... she’s unbelievably brave.❤️

Next up: she starts immunotherapy this Friday, which means another trip back to Indy. The costs add up fast... gas, rent, utilities, just everyday stuff.

If you’re able to give, even just a little, it truly helps more than you know. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page is just as appreciated. Every bit of love and support keeps us going. To everyone who’s donated so far: thank you! Your support means everything!❣️

UPDATE AS OF MAY 8, 2025..
I'm happy to share that Jenna and her family are home.. She will return to Indianapolis again next week where she will start treatment that we are hoping will be a miracle and life saving. ❤️ Please keep praying for my sister and sharing her story. Her fight isn't over yet!

UPDATE AS OF MAY 6, 2025...
Jenna has been back in the hospital for the past few weeks. A few days ago, she was transferred from Lutheran to IU Methodist due to dangerously low platelet and white blood cell counts. The doctors and care team have been working tirelessly around the clock, and we’re incredibly thankful to share that, as of today, her levels are closer to normal. We’re hopeful they’ll continue to stabilize without the need for another platelet transfusion.

In the coming week, doctors will be discussing radiation and next steps in her treatment... We know the road ahead is still rocky and filled with uncertainty, but your continued support, prayers, and generosity mean the world to us and help carry us through each day. ♡

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Hi, it's me again...
As most of you know, my sister Jenna was diagnosed with angiosarcoma this last year, a rare & aggressive form of cancer. Since then, she’s endured more than anyone should ever have to: chemo, hair loss, countless surgeries, blood transfusions, fluid drainings from her lungs & heart, & even open-heart surgery in Cleveland to remove a tumor the size of an orange..

She eventually celebrated when doctors said she appeared to be cancer-free. She rang the bell, cried happy tears, & hope felt real again!
But it didn’t last..

Soon after, swelling sent her back to the hospital & back to Cleveland. More meds. More uncertainty.. A brain scan was needed due to symptoms she was experiencing which revealed spots, at first, doctors thought it might be mini strokes. Surgeons from around the world reviewed her case (she is literally one in a million), & she was eventually diagnosed with a heart condition. Once stabilized, she returned home, but just two weeks later she started experiencing intense pain from her side to her shoulder.

Scans revealed spots; in her brain, liver & chest.. Her oncologist sent her to Indy immediately.

As of April 18, 2025, Jenna will be facing a new round of chemo & radiation. She & her husband Derek now have to travel regularly to Indianapolis for treatment. The emotional & physical toll is enormous, but so is the financial burden.. Jenna can’t work. Derek takes care of her, while also taking care of their three young boys, the house, & everything else in between. He does great! But bills, groceries, gas, 3 young boys, it adds up fast & they are not ones to ask for help.. so 100% of the donations will contribute to those things.

I'm asking for support in any form; donations, gift cards, meals/snacks for the boys, or even just sharing this page to help spread the word. Most of all, we ask for prayers. Prayers for healing, for strength, & for the brilliant doctors fighting alongside Jenna..

She may be one in a million; but she’s the one who can beat this.

Let’s show Jenna & her family the power of community. We've lifted them before, & I KNOW we can do it again.

& lastly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. To everyone who has been there for Jenna & her family; whether through prayers, meals, donations, messages, or just showing up.. words can’t begin to explain how much it means to me. Despite the pain & uncertainty of this awful disease, you’ve all stepped up & shown out for her on multiple occasions. You’ve proven just how deeply she is loved, valued, & surrounded by a truly incredible village. So thank you all.

With Love & Gratitude,
Shelby.
