My name is Jenna, and I’m a 69-year-old retiree hoping to move from the west coast back to the east coast to be near my family. I’m the youngest of seven siblings, and after losing several to COVID, only two of us remain. Because of financial constraints, I couldn’t travel for my parents’ or siblings’ funerals, and now being close to family is more important than ever. This move is not just for me, but also for my disabled adult daughter who lives with me. I worry about her being alone if something happens to me, especially since she lost her dad at a young age. We also have two beloved emotional support cats who will need safe ground transportation.
