Help Jenna Continue Fighting Cancer

Story

Hello! My name is Jenna Mackenzie, and I have Hodgkin's Lymphoma, again... I am struggling. I have taken medical leave from my job so I can safely have my major surgery on January 31, 2022. I teach 9th grade World Geography in a public school. I cannot contract COVID-19 and still be able to do my surgery on the scheduled date. I have not yet heard back from my school district on what my specific pay will be while I am out due to my extreme medical issues but I know it will not be all of what I would have made had I been there. I am starting this campaign to *hopefully, make my medical treatments and life possible while I am unable to go to work. Believe me, I LOVE my job and my students! But, right now, I have to be concerned with basic survival. It's the worst. I know the $15,000 starting fundraiser amount may seem high but, it is to pay for basic living costs and my EXPENSIVE medical treatments. Who knew having cancer was so emotionally taxing and financially challenging. I have a blog I have not kept as up-to-date as I should have throughout this journey that can help shed some light on what I am talking about here; the link is: https://jennamackenziesblog.blogspot.com/ I am posting a FULL update on there today that should help clarify everything. Here is my latest post----https://jennamackenziesblog.blogspot.com/2022/01/JennaNeedsSomeHelp-GoFundMe.html If you are able AND would like to donate to my medical costs and cost of living, please do so here. I appreciate every single person that sees this, shares, and donates. I understand you may not be able to donate yourself but, I ask that you share this GoFundMe. Please. Thank you all in advance <3 Jenna Mackenzie
