Hello friends, my name is Christy Shaffer. I’m originally from Van WV. A little town in the hills of West Virginia. I recently had a good friend who lost EVERYTHING she had in a house fire! Her name is Jenn Mobley Todd. She has been a friend for years. God has put it upon my heart to start a GoFundMe for her and her son Preston. She’s a single, hard-working mom. She also has 2 grown kids, Maddie and Andrew.

We are put on this earth to help hurting people and I can’t imagine losing everything I have! It’s the only place and thing Preston has ever known. I would hope if I ever lost everything I have, that someone would be there to help me!

Thank you Lord, no one was injured in the fire! Material things can be replaced, but our lives cannot.

Anything you can give would help. Just think if everyone in this world would do their part to help others. God has called us to love Him and love others! He said He would give us Beauty for Ashes!
