At about 2:30 AM, the unimaginable happened to my aunt and uncle, Jenn and Matt Deitrick. Their mobile home caught on fire, and they barely escaped by kicking out the back bedroom window just in time. My uncle made it out wearing only his boxers, and my aunt in just a pajama shirt. Right now, they are both in the hospital—Matt is on oxygen, and Jenn is in the ICU, sedated, with severe burns to her lungs. There is a possibility she will be transferred to Hershey for further treatment.

Jenn and Matt lost everything in the fire. They have no home to spend the holidays in, no car for my uncle to get to work, no cell phones to reach out for support, and no clothes to change into. Most heartbreakingly, they lost their two dogs and cat, who were their beloved companions. This is a total loss, and they are facing the most difficult time of their lives with absolutely nothing left.

Every penny donated will go directly towards medical bills, clothes, a vehicle, and housing for Jenn and Matt as they recover and try to rebuild their lives.
