Hello, I’m trying to raise funds for Jennifer who was diagnosed with breast cancer September 16th. I know you are probably saying to yourself, people are diagnosed every minute with breast cancer. Yes, you are right. However, The only treatment for Jenn’s type of breast cancer is chemotherapy. Jenn has very little support. She is a divorced single mother of 2 girls. Kate (15) and Emma (12). Her parents live in Canada and she has no family locally. She is a full time employee of the The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia where she devotes herself to placing animals in there forever homes. This is her passion and how our friendship started over 18 years ago. I have never met a more selfless person. She puts everyone and all the animals in Hall County before her own needs. I consider her my partner in crime. The person I call when I have a cat trapped and need a crate. My go to when their is a stray dog that I need help placing. I could go on forever.
She has already started a very aggressive treatment. She will have 1 chemo treatment per week for three months and go to a lesser aggressive chemo every two weeks for an additional 3 months. This will take her into spring and at that time she will be reassessed.
The money raised will allow Jenn to take care of herself. She will not have to worry about how missing a day or two or three will effect her, her kids, and her personal animals financially.
