Help Jenn and Noobs Overcome This Challenge
UPDATE ! WE DESPERATLY NEED A WHEEL CHAIR FOR NOOBS WHICH IS AROUND 500 DOLLARSI'm starting this fundraiser for my neighbor and friend, Jenn, for her puppers Noobs, short for Anubis, a 75 lb Bully! We are residents of the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina, but life here is restricted in a lot of ways and not so easy or convenient in situations like this! Jenn recently had surgery, and when she came home from surgery, she found Noobs paralyzed and rushed him to the vet. The vet did X-rays and believes that Noobs more than likely has suffered Fibrocartilaginous Embolism (FCE), also known as a spinal stroke, a condition where a piece of cartilage from the intervertebral disc blocks blood flow to the spinal cord, leading to the sudden onset of neurological deficits. 0! Noobs will have a long and expensive recovery and will need constant physical rehabilitation. Jenn will need help acquiring the necessary items to help in his recovery, such as a wheelchair for Noobs for his back legs, a sling to help move him, a ramp to help him get in and out of the house, and puppy pads, as he is not able to control his bowels currently! We are fully committed and want to see Noobs get his legs and life back to the happy puppy dog he has always been! We are more than open to any item donations as well: wheelchair, slings, puppy pads, canned food, vitamin supplements, anything that can help Noobs recover from the paralysis! Many dogs have recovered with the love and support they need to do so, and Noobs is not wanting to give up. We are currently working with him already but desperately need some help with the MRI and the items needed to give him more mobility and Jenn and I the support we need to be able to handle the 75 lb load of Noobs! Please, please, please do whatever you can to help, and if you can't help with money or items, please help us by sharing this GoFundMe to get as much exposure as possible to get this sweet boy back to walking again! We will be providing daily updates and pics via Facebook and Instagram so everyone can share in our recovery journey to bringing Noobs back to mobility and a good quality of life! Thank you so much to everyone, and we appreciate any and all support in this tough time for Noobs and Jenn!
