February 2026:

My name is Jenn, wife to Coops & mother to Liv 11yr old and Jax 14yr old and I am living with Stage Four bowel cancer. My diagnosis came unexpectedly after I went to donate blood for the Red Cross. During routine screening, my hemoglobin levels were flagged as critically low. Further medical investigations revealed a 4 cm tumour in my bowel. Shortly after, I required emergency surgery in October 2025 due to a bowel obstruction. Following surgery, I was diagnosed with advanced bowel cancer carrying a BRAF mutation. My oncologist has advised that this mutation makes the cancer incurable. While chemotherapy can slow the progression of the disease, it cannot cure it. I have been told that chemotherapy will be ongoing for the rest of my life, continuing until my body is no longer able to tolerate treatment. Without treatment, my prognosis is only a matter of months. With chemotherapy, I have been given the possibility of a few years. Since then I’ve returned for a six week stay in hospital had 10 procedures to stent a blocked bile duct that’s being obstructed from a new tumour that’s grown in the small intestines Hearing this has been incredibly

alarming, and the reality of potentially leaving my family within such a short time is beyond devastating.

This fundraiser has been created to help ease the immense financial burden that comes with sudden ongoing cancer treatment. Funds raised will assist with medical and treatment-related expenses, allow access to supportive and alternative therapies, and most importantly, this support will allow me to focus on what matters most: spending meaningful time with my family, creating memories, and living with dignity, comfort, and love for as long as possible. October 2025:

Our beautiful friend Jenn has recently been diagnosed with bowel cancer. She was scheduled for surgery on October 31st, but things took an unexpected turn when she was rushed in for emergency surgery last week.

Jenn is now in recovery and will spend the next 6–8 weeks healing before she begins chemotherapy.

Jenn is a young mum of two and the heart of her family. Her husband is doing his best to juggle everything — working to support the family while also being there for Jenn and their children. As you can imagine, it’s a lot for one family to manage.

We’re hoping to raise funds to help ease the financial pressure so her husband can take time off work to care for Jenn and the kids, attend appointments, and help her through this incredibly tough time without the added stress of bills and daily costs.
