I don't have children—I have Jenga. She's my baby, and we've been through so much together. We live out in the country, and she loves nothing more than running around the pond and exploring our 20 acres. Jenga's first two years were miserable; she was kept on a heavy chain in someone's backyard, never knowing the freedom and love she has now. When she finally came into my life, everything changed for both of us. She's my best friend, my constant companion, and truly my everything.
Recently, Jenga tore her meniscus in her back left leg. Now, she can't run or play like she used to, and it breaks my heart to see her in pain. The surgery she needs is expensive, and with me being two months behind on rent, I simply can't afford it on my own. Jenga is turning 8 this year, but she still has the spunk and energy of a two-year-old. I can't imagine losing her or seeing her feel stuck again after finally having the freedom she deserves.
I'm reaching out for help so Jenga can get the surgery she needs and return to the happy, active life she loves. Any support you can give means the world to us. Thank you for reading our story and for caring about Jenga's future.
