A devastating and unbridled fire is ravaging the Aspen Acres area in Colorado! This fire has spread so far and has gotten so big that they are unable to get control of it and everyone has been evacuated from the towns of Beulah, Rye, Westmore, San Isabel, and Colorado City due to the zero containment of these fires. They are just raging and destroying and there is nothing anyone can do about it except wait for federal help which is on the way. The homes and livestock lost already is MASSIVE as this is the 9th largest fire in Colorado history and it isn’t done yet. My friend Jen is a long time resident of Beulah and her life has been completely devastated by these fires. Her milk cows and calves are displaced, there is no hay to feed her animals, and she is being left with nowhere to go. There is a local farmer who is able to house her animals, but there needs to be fencing and pens and there is no money for that or for where she will live during this nightmare ordeal. This family is really struggling and we don’t have an end in sight during this national disaster. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated as they navigate their uncertain future.
