Help Jen pick up the pieces

Hi, my name is Cassandra and I am proud to say I have the best big sister in the entire world. Her name is Jen and last night she experienced the worst night of her life. Her husband took his life after a long battle with mental health. They had just celebrated their eleven year wedding anniversary only weeks ago. They have had their ups and downs and he has fought a hard battle with mental health but she has never stopped being a support system to him and she loved that man like I’ve never seen before. They share a 6 year old daughter together (Aleah) and he left behind his step son (Elijah) and another daughter from a previous relationship (Keyarah).

My sister is the best mom in the entire world and tried all she could to help him fight the battle he was facing. She is the most selfless person and is always putting others first. She plans everyone the most extravagant parties and would give the shirt off her back before even being asked.

She is having to face funeral costs, the challenges of now being a single parent and raising a 6 year old and all of the financial burdens that come with losing a significant other.

I know our community is amazing and miracles happen and so I’m hoping we can raise enough to cover the funeral cost and if we exceed our goal the rest of the money will go to getting her back on her feet and helping out Aleah’s future.
