Many of you know that I was in a pretty serious motorcycle accident in February this year, which required emergency surgery on my arm, and I'm still waiting to get approval for a knee replacement. UCI Hospital just wrapped up their billing, and I am left with a crushing copay of $24,363.98!!! I am reaching out to my friends and family for help. This is completely devastating. People with insurance should not be left with this kind of life-crushing debt if they are in an accident. I was initially taken to UCI Trauma Center because it was the closest, and my situation was critical. I had Kaiser insurance, but because Kaiser was too overcrowded, they had me remain at UCI for the surgery and recovery, but they processed the claim as out of network. I didn't have a choice!! I was broken and helpless!!

Anyways, any support anyone can give me would be incredibly appreciated. I am still in disbelief. Thank you, everyone!
