Help Jen & Jax With Avalanching Vet Bill

Hello everyone! We are friends of Jen Wood. Jen is a well known giver. She’s there when anyone needs her and is always the first to offer a hand. Now is our chance to help direct all that good karma back in her direction!

A week ago, Jen’s beloved, furry, three-year-old “boy,” Jax, got sick. What started as a normal vet visit for an under-the-weather dog quickly spiraled into life-or-death critical care and a ballooning medical bill. As of this writing, the bill is $24,000 and still mounting. With 20/80 pet insurance that maxes out at $20,000 per year, Jen will owe her 20% of $20,000, plus 100% of everything beyond that on the final bill. Unfortunately, she must front all the money until the insurance pays out. So far, Jen has sacrificed a lot, including part of her future, cashing in retirement savings to meet the growing bill.

Jax is everything to Jen. He waits for her at the door, he protects her out on the street, and he happily hits the road with her every trip he can. We hate to watch Jen battle this all on her own, which she is uncomplainingly doing, and what good are friends if they are not there when life is treating you badly?
