Help Jen Gotschall Willmore Seek Lifesaving Treatment

Hi everyone,
Our mom, Jen Gotschall Willmore, is the strongest woman we know—and for the past three years, she’s been bravely fighting colon cancer with everything she has. Her journey has been long, painful, and filled with uncertainty—but also full of strength, hope, and determination.
Jen was diagnosed with colon cancer in February 2023. Just five days later, she was life-flighted due to a perforated tumor the size of a softball. She underwent emergency surgery and started treatment immediately, completing four rounds of chemotherapy and oral chemo pills.
She went into remission… but only briefly.
In August 2024, we learned the cancer had spread to her ovary. By October, she had a total hysterectomy and began 30 rounds of radiation and chemo pills. Despite fighting through it all and finishing treatment in January 2025, the cancer came back just two months later. In March 2025, scans showed it had spread to her lungs and returned to her colon.
On April 15, 2025, we received the news no family ever wants to hear: her cancer is now terminal. Her medical team says chemotherapy is the only option left—to prolong life, not cure it.
But Jen isn’t giving up.
She’s pursuing a second opinion and a new path forward at Envita Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ—a facility that specializes in personalized, integrative cancer treatment, especially for late-stage cancer patients. Envita focuses on treating the root causes of each individual’s disease, and we truly believe this gives her a real shot at remission.
Unfortunately, Envita does not accept insurance. The out-of-pocket costs are overwhelming:
• $12,000/week for 10–14 weeks of treatment
• $12,000–$16,000 for genetic bloodwork
• Travel, lodging, and other expenses
Altogether, this journey could cost between $100,000 and $200,000.
We’re doing everything we can as a family—but we need help. Jen’s fight shouldn’t end because of financial hardship.
If you can donate, we are beyond grateful. If you’ve already donated—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support means the world to us. And whether you’re able to give or not, please continue to keep Jen in your prayers and share this message with others.
She’s not done fighting. And with your help, we believe she can win.
With love and gratitude,
Willmore/Fernandez Family
