Help Jen Fulfill Her Final Wishes
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
It’s hard to find the right words for something like this, but we want to share Jen’s journey and ask for your help as she enters the final chapter of her life — one filled with love, peace, and the simple, beautiful things she’s been dreaming of.
As many of you know, my beloved sister Jen has been fighting cancer with everything she’s got. She’s braved endless hospital visits, major surgeries, exhausting treatments, and moments of both triumph and heartbreak. Through it all, Gd has been our rock and because of that she’s remained strong, hopeful, and filled with grace.
For a while, things were looking up. But recently, we’ve been faced with the hardest truth of all. Her body is tired, and the doctors have done everything they can. Even though we remain faithful in the Lord, every option has been explored, every second opinion sought, every door knocked on. We’ve now been told it’s time to focus on keeping her comfortable with hospice care.
As unimaginable as that is, Jen isn’t giving up, she’s just shifting her focus. She wants to spend the time she has left surrounded by her two year old daughter, fiancé, family and friends in the comfort of her own home, soaking in every moment. And, in true Jen fashion, she still has a few dreams she’d like to make real:
* She wants to finally get married in the church. As some of you may know, this had to be postponed due to an emergency surgery and it’s something she’s been holding onto hope for.
* She wants a few peaceful days at the beach (As Jen said, “For real this time.” Haha)
We’re reaching out with this fundraiser to help make those final dreams possible. Whether it’s a cent, $1, $10, etc… Your support will go toward:
* Hospice and home care costs
* Making her beach getaway happen
* Keeping her surrounded by comfort and love in these precious days
* Any possible/future medial expenses
We don’t know how much time Jen has left, but we do know how she wants to spend it with her daughter, family, with love, laughter, and without worry.
We are endlessly grateful for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers we’ve received throughout this journey. God’s presence and blessings along with your kindness has been a light in some of the darkest moments, and we can’t thank you enough for standing by Jen and all of us during this time.
If you can give, thank you. If you can share this with others, thank you. And if all you can offer is a prayer or a kind thought, we feel that too, and it means everything.
Thank you❤️
