To know Jen and Louis is to love them both. Jen is a former ER and flight nurse who unexpectedly had to leave her job a year ago due to new onset and unexplained medical issues. Since that time, her husband Louis, has been solely supporting their family on his Firefighter/ ParaMedic salary from multiple jobs.

A couple of weeks ago, they were blessed with the birth of their sweet baby Millie. Throughout her pregnancy, she was met often with new and unexplained medical diagnoses and pregnancy related complications.

We were all hoping that her health would look up post partum, but that has not been the case. Since delivery they have been home only a few days with Jen back and forth to the hospital with unexplained cardiac issues. She is now in ICU while they are exploring differing diagnoses and extensive diagnostic testing and procedures.

Louis and baby Millie have been able to stay with her through this process. However, Louis is running out of leave and we know he may need to continue to be out for some time in order to be able to care for Jen and their children.
