On July 21st, three weeks of hospitalization for hand and foot numbness culminated in the devastating diagnosis of a malignant and aggressive brain tumor for my sister-in-law, Jen. She and her husband Dylan had just recently announced that they were adding a little girl to their family and were so excited to see their 2 year old son Finn become a big brother. This diagnosis of a grade 4 diffuse midline glioma has turned their lives inside out. We know Jen as a dedicated mother and wife, a lover of books, a talented artist, and a dear member of our family. In her family’s darkest hour, we want to help get the word out and bring people together to support them so they can focus on what’s most important.
