Hi, my name is Jelani Thompson, and I am an international dental student from Jamaica, proudly studying at Howard University College of Dentistry. Ranked in the top 5 of my class, I’ve poured my heart into my studies to one day serve others with compassionate and skilled oral care.

However, as an international student, I am not eligible for financial aid, making it incredibly difficult to cover the rising costs of tuition, supplies, and living expenses. Despite my academic success and unwavering dedication, I’m at risk of having to pause my education without additional support.
